Volunteering is a voluntary work of an individual or a group that freely gives time and effort to serve the public. Many volunteers are specially trained in their areas of work, such as medicine, education or emergency rescue. Others serve on a necessary basis, such as in response to a natural disaster.

In general the performance of volunteer is considered a disinterested and selfless concern for the well-being of others where an individual or group provides services. SAWAB has been executing this program to improve the efficiency and competency of the youth to help the helpless throughout the natural or man-made disasters. SAWAB volunteers are specifically trained in the areas of medicine, education, or emergency rescue. Others serve on an as-needed basis, such as in response to the disaster. SAWAB provides the volunteers with the opportunity to connect the community at its worst and make it a better place. Moreover, through this program volunteers can make new friends, expand their network, and boost their social skills.
