SAWAB distributed tube well materials among 70 underprivileged families in Dimla Upazila of Nilphamari district.
Under the auspices of the private development organization “Social Agency for Welfare and Advancement in Bangladesh” (SAWAB), tube well materials were distributed to 70 underprivileged families in Dimla Upazila of Nilphamari district on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. This initiative aims to facilitate the installation of tube wells, benefiting the local community. Prior to this distribution, SAWAB had already installed over 200 tube wells in the district.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Aftab Uddin Sarkar, MP Bir Muktijoddha of Nilphamari-01 Constituency, who attended as the chief guest. Mr. Mejbaur Rahman, the PIO Officer, attended as the special guest, while Umm Salma Maheda, the Upazila Executive Officer of Atra Upazila, presided over the distribution ceremony. Additionally, SAWAB’s Program Officer, Md. Tanvir Ahmed Shuvo, and journalists from various media outlets, as well as dignitaries from the region, were also in attendance.

During the ceremony, the chief guest, special guests, and government officials praised SAWAB for its various developmental and service works, expressing their good wishes for the organization’s future endeavors.
