Alhamdulillah! With the boundless mercy of Allah (SWT) and the generous support of our valued donors, SAWAB has successfully completed its Qurbani 2025 Program, bringing the joy and blessings of Eid-ul-Adha to some of the most marginalized and vulnerable communities across 30 districts in Bangladesh.

This year, the program prioritized serving those most in need, including Rohingya refugees, orphans, widows, flood-affected families, and ultra-poor households—many of whom face food insecurity and economic hardship year-round. By distributing Qurbani meat with compassion and dignity, we ensured that no family was left behind during this sacred celebration.

📍 Program Coverage – 30 Districts Across Bangladesh:

The Qurbani program was implemented in: Dhaka, Gazipur, Kushtia, Bogura, Nilphamari, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Satkhira, Sylhet, Cumilla, Chattogram, Lokkhipur, Jamalpur, Madaripur, Feni, Khulna, Jessore, Pabna, Dinajpur, Sherpur, Pirojpur, Cox’s Bazar, Kurigram, Netrokona, Rajbari, Chandpur, Lalmonirhat, Narayanganj, and Rangpur.

🐄 Meat Distribution with Dignity & Compassion:

Thousands of kilograms of fresh Qurbani meat were distributed to eligible families, following Islamic principles and local customs. Each distribution was conducted with care, ensuring that recipients were treated with respect and that the joy of Eid was shared equally. Our volunteers worked tirelessly under challenging conditions to deliver this meat directly to homes and community centers.

💡 What Made This Qurbani Program Special?

  • A strong focus on equity and dignity, especially for vulnerable groups like women-led households and the elderly.
  • A commitment to quality and hygiene, with careful monitoring of slaughtering and distribution processes.
  • Direct coordination with local community leaders and volunteers to ensure transparent and fair beneficiary selection.

💬 “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve him of hardship on the Day of Resurrection.”(Sahih Muslim)

This hadith inspired every step of our journey—from selecting the most underserved locations to hand-delivering meat packages with kindness and care.

🤲 Gratitude to Our Donors and Partners:

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our donors, community partners, and volunteers, whose trust, compassion, and commitment made this impact possible. Your contributions not only fulfilled the religious obligation of Qurbani but also brought comfort, nourishment, and joy to countless families.

Through your generosity, SAWAB was able to embody the true essence of Eid: sacrifice, compassion, and community.

🌍 Looking Ahead:

As we reflect on the success of this year’s Qurbani program, we remain committed to expanding our reach and improving the lives of those we serve. We pray that Allah (SWT) accepts your Qurbani, blesses your families, and rewards you abundantly in this life and the hereafter.
