Ashraful Islam is an accomplished professional with over 7 years of experience in the Fundraising and Communication Department and Humanitarian Sectors. He currently serves as the Assistant Manager-Fundraising and Communication at the Social Agency for Welfare and Advancement in Bangladesh (SAWAB).
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master of Arts degree, both from the English Literature Department. His role at SAWAB involves a wide range of responsibilities. He communicates with national and international donors from various countries through multiple channels, including email, cell phone, WhatsApp, and social media. He is skilled in developing concept notes, project proposals, progress reports, and completion reports for different projects, and submits them to the donors.
He also produces situation reports, action plans, case studies, field experiences, newsletters, and email templates on project activities to promote the organization’s brand. He prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual plans, reports, and budgets for the project. He coordinates with the field staff to implement the projects and programs effectively and efficiently. Additionally, he actively searches for new donors and establishes partnerships with international organizations. His dedication and commitment to his role have been instrumental in advancing the mission of SAWAB.
